Hello, I am Maxim Dsouza.
I am a self-improvement, productivity, and time management enthusiast. I spend every day of my life trying to find better ways to do things.
Many of my experiments fail and some of them succeed. I’m obsessed with making the best of my time. I have tried to optimize the time I take to brush my teeth. I am not proud of it, but I look for optimization opportunities that people consider shocking.
On this blog, I share my experience about what works and what doesn’t. I won’t suggest any tips to brush faster, pinky promise.
Also, I strive to make better decisions by understanding the different aspects of psychology and human behavior. If you’re keen on achieving your goals, you must develop a sound awareness about how your brain operates and thinks. I have done extensive research on cognitive biases and psychology on my own.
On this blog, I write real life and actionable advice on:
- Goal Clarity
- Time Management
- Decision Making
Through my career, I have developed a special love for building businesses. Along this journey, I have been a part of and contributed extensively to multiple failed startups. My ideas have fallen flat on my face many times. I am yet to find what works, but my experience has taught me what doesn’t.
My approach is to never run a sprint but take small baby steps like a marathon while enjoying the journey.
I have written a book called ‘The Magic of 2 Seconds.’ It teaches you how to make better decisions and avoid silly mistakes in 2 seconds. Your mind can do amazing things in 2 seconds. Your thoughts are lightning quick, no matter what your IQ.
Practicing the 2 second principle is the secret recipe for developing the self awareness skills of a zen monk. Your brain is capable of a lot more than you think. Read this book to tap into the magic of your mind using just 2 seconds.
If you are here, I am sure you are an ambitious person looking to chase your dreams. I am guessing you have dreams higher than Everest but you find it challenging to pursue your dreams.
Maybe you have a full-time job or college which takes most of your time. You worry you will lead your life without being able to live the life of your dreams.
Do not worry. You can pursue your dreams no matter what your circumstances. Whether you have a full-time job or other responsibilities consume your time, you can still do it. Unlike the articles on the internet, I will not ask you to quit your job today and take a leap of faith.
To scale Mount Everest you must start practicing today. Similarly, to pursue your dream, you must put in the effort today. Trust me, you can do it.
The purpose of the website is to inspire, influence and infect people with positivity. The target is to help 1 million people pursue their dream. Will you be one of them?
