Helping you follow your dream

A Little Better Everyday - The Kaizen Way

Challenge for February 17th: Create your cookie jar

David Goggins created the cookie jar method to help you motivate yourself using your previous victories. When you feel like you are running out of steam, recalling your previous triumphs help you proceed one step at a time.

Goggins ran a 100-mile Ultra-marathon without practice using the same technique. You do not have to attempt the same feat, but you can create a cookie jar for yourself. This jar is nothing but a collection of your previous achievements.

Whenever you feel low or defeated, you just have to pull out a cookie from your imaginary jar and take a bite. It works wonders. Read more on the technique below.
