A Little Better Everyday - The Kaizen Way

When 2 people talk, both keep thinking about what to say next. During this thought, you miss listening to the other person’s point of view. Even if you do listen, you fail to process it enough.
Listening is not the same as listening actively. If your listening is active, all your attention should be on what the other person is saying and not the thought in your head.
Today, you will pay full attention to the words of the person talking to you. You will not distract yourself with your thoughts or prepare what to say next. If you need a moment to decide what to say next after the other person has finished, take a small pause to gather your thoughts.
